Step inside circular innovation: exclusive factory visit to Brightfiber Textiles
On 28 April, the Sustainable Apparel & Textiles Conference arrives in Amsterdam, bringing together industry leaders around one central theme. Through inspiring presentations, a round tour, and hands-on problem-solving sessions, the conference convenes forward-thinking apparel and textile professionals to foster collaboration and accelerate an ecosystem that delivers real, measurable impact.
In collaboration with Innovation Forum, Brightfiber is opening its doors for an exclusive on-site visit to our Circular Textile Factory in Amsterdam, where textile-to-textile recycling is not a future ambition, but a daily reality.
During this visit, you will experience firsthand how locally sourced secondhand clothing is transformed into high-quality new textile fibers, yarns and fabrics. Our factory demonstrates what becomes possible when innovation, local supply chains, and circular design principles are fully aligned.
Discover how Amsterdam’s textile waste stream is being turned into a valuable resource and why this approach can serve as a scalable blueprint for textile recycling across Europe and beyond.
From inspiration to honest conversation
Following the factory tour, we’ll break into smaller roundtable groups to tackle one of the most pressing questions in our industry:
What’s really holding circularity back—and how do we scale it?
These discussions will be held under Chatham House Rules, creating a safe and open environment for candid dialogue. Together, we’ll dive into:
Scaling True Circularity: Barriers, Responsibilities, and Brand Leadership
Global Perspectives: Learning from National Circular Textile Systems
From Amsterdam to the World: Building a Circular Fashion Blueprint
This session is designed for honest, pragmatic exchange—not surface-level conversation. It marks the official kickoff of the conference, setting the tone for meaningful collaboration.
We’ll conclude the afternoon with pre-conference drinks at Hotel Casa, offering space to continue conversations and strengthen new connections.
Workshop: what to expect
This is not a passive session. The interactive workshop for circular textile businesses, innovators, fashion and workwear brands is designed to:
Dive deep into real industry challenges
Foster peer-to-peer collaboration
Surface practical, implementable solutions
Generate actionable insights
Build valuable new connections
You’ll leave with more than inspiration, you’ll leave with clarity, ideas you can apply, and relationships that support real progress.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brightfiber and making circular fashion the new norm together.
